Where is it: 2 George Street Brisbane QLD (QUT Gardens Point Campus)
Why we love it: A fantastic and interactive way to connect with Brisbane’s past!
Tell me more: Lady Diamantina Roma Bowen was one of Queensland’s most influential women in our pioneering days and although some of us might not be away of who she was, most Brisbanites will immediately with her name! She was Queensland’s First Lady from 1859 to 1868, and she is the perfect person to be giving you a guided tour of our Old Government House! We were escorted around this magnificent old building and museum by a beautiful interpretation by actress Natalie Cowling in period costume as she told stories about Brisbane’s past. It was such a wonderful to learn about our city’s history and we shared in a morning tea with her! The tour runs for 2 hours and is open from the 13th to the 30th of June 2019 and is one not to miss!

Where is it: Iona Performing Arts Centre, Iona College, 85 North Road, Lindum, QLD
What's it all about: A wonderful local production of a story of love, jealousy, brawling, and adventure set in the early 20th century!
Tell me more: We are big fans of Savoyards Theatre! They are a local theatre company that always puts on fabulous productions! We checked out their launch of ‘Oklahoma’ and again Savoyards did not disappoint! Although we only had a sneak peek, the costumes, music and singing again look to be wonderful! We can’t wait to see the main event!
