Why we love it: Beautiful breakfasts in a lovely family-friendly setting and fantastic views!
Tell me more: If you like to enjoy your breakfast (and all day, if you like!) with a view, then Chapter IV Café might be the place for you! Situated in the leafy and hilly suburb of Paddington, this lovely café, housed in a traditional Queenslander-style store, is a fantastic place to dine! The street-level entry quickly disappears as you work your way to the back deck balcony which boasts fantastic views of the city inner city suburbs!
But don’t be fooled into thinking that Chapter IV is all about the view – the real reason that people love it here is the fantastic food and service. Choose from a range of all-day breakfasts – from a light starter to the very satisfying big breakfast – there’s something here for all tastes! A typical range and of coffee, teas and chai and more complements the breakfast and are superbly presented and taste great! The lunch and dessert menus again look fantastic and Chapter IV is licensed, too!
Chapter IV is a wonderful and welcoming café in a lovely part of Brisbane and it’s a great place for families – there’s even a children’s play area! Open every day from 7:00am to 2:30 pm.

Over 5 days QUT’s Creative Industries present a huge number of different experiences that will both open your mind and entertain. From panel discussions to fashion, live music and theatre – CreateX will have something for everyone!
We went along to a superbly imaginative and interactive dance exhibition called ‘Inferno’, which was simply amazing! Attendees could choose between a participant or spectator entry – with the participants being strapped into a robotic exoskeleton! What follows is an incredible display of music, lighting and atmosphere as the participants surrender to the movement of the exoskeleton – such an amazing experience!
CreateX is extremely well presented, professional and most of all entertaining, and is a wonderful part of Brisbane’s thriving cultural scene!
Di Bella coffee opened the doors of its Roasting Warehouse for a few lucky coffee tasters to sample some of their fantastic brews and show off their magnificent facility and process! We were amongst those lucky tasters and the experience (as well as the aroma) was amazing!
Di Bella roasts and blends a huge range of coffee flavours, and as well as being super yummy, Di Bella coffee is an absolutely fantastic Brisbane success story, growing from one visionaries dream to Australia’s second largest coffee roasting operation! And as most Australians know, it’s definitely not just about the quantity – the quality and taste of the coffee is what has made Di Bella the success that it is!
Sourcing green beans from ethical and sustainable sources across the globe, Di Bella roasts these magical little beans right here in Brisbane! Di Bella coffees are served at cafes all across our great city, but for the ultimate coffee experience, you really need to head to Di Bella’s Roasting Warehouse in Bowen Hills. Here you can purchase some beans (or even a coffee machine), get some fantastic tips, take specialised training or just relax with a cuppa and a bite to eat!

Ribs & Burgers do amazing burgers – so fresh and filling and most importantly – yummy! Ribs & Burgers use premium ingredients for all their dishes and they are all meticulously prepared and full of flavour! And not just burgers either.
