We spend a fair bit of time at the beach here in Queensland – it gets nice and warm in summer and it’s the perfect place to cool down. But along with our warm weather, we have a bit of a problem with the sun – Queensland has one of the highest rates of skin cancers in the world. So shade is a bit of a necessity here, but luckily we have a fantastic new beach shade that’s compact, lightweight, easy to put up and stays firm even in strong winds. Our Breezy Shade travels with us everywhere now, it’s nice and compact so it’s easy to leave in the car, and compared to lugging around a gazebo, this one’s a breeze! It’s super easy to put up as well. Sand bags are built into each corner – fill them (or peg them to ground if there’s no sand) and stretch out, then just raise the centre with the supplied poles – it’s so easy! The shade created by our Breezy Family is great for a small family (there are 2 other sizes as well) and the shade is really effective, even in high winds. The wind just passes through and we never feel concerned that it’s going to lift off! Such a wonderful product and one that will be getting lots of use this summer!
Foam mattresses have come a long way in recent times. Previously, if you wanted a good night’s sleep it had to be on an innerspring. That’s not the case anymore, and one of the best foam mattresses out there would have to be Emma. Delivered (quickly, and free of charge) rolled up in a box was a little deceiving as to how good a night’s sleep we would get out of this super comfy mattress! Ours was a queen size and weighs a little less than the same size innerspring. Setting up was easy – out of the box, fold out on the bed and take off the plastic wrapping. It soaks up the air and ‘inflates’ itself, taking shape quickly, but probably took 12 hours for all the packing marks to completely disappear. This didn’t stop us sleeping on it the first night!
Our Emma Original is constructed with 3 layers of premium quality foam and 7 different zones of support. They are breathable and have a fantastic removable and fully machine washable cover. They have won awards across the world and it’s easy to see (and feel) why. We love our Emma and they are confident that you will too – you can try it for 100 nights and if you’re not happy, you can send it back free of charge and get a full refund! They come with a 10 year warranty as well.
