Why we love it: A chance to not only watch, but launch a real rocket - how could we not love that!
Tell me more: Every couple of months or so, the Queensland Rocketry Society holds public viewing days as their society members launch some amazing rockets ! That in itself is a pretty impressive outing for the kids as they can watch these rockets shoot thousands of feet into the air! But for a relatively small cost (the last time we checked it was only $20!), you can get your very own (and real!) rocket - which you prepare and launch yourself (under guidance, of course)! Amazing! You even get to keep it and bring it back for the next open day! So much fun and very potentially the start of an awesome new hobby for you and your kids!
