Tell me more: The roots of street art means that it is often kept underground and rarely celebrated, so this event intends to provide more exposure to the huge talent that exists in this genre and hopes to open some minds of those who don't realise that street art is more than graffiti on trains. Some incredible artists have evolved through street art and there are some really great exhibits on throughout this 2 week festival. With 25 different venues it means that you are sure to be able to get your dose of street culture including live performances, visual displays, music and murals! We checked out a great photographic exhibition tracing the history of Brisbane graffiti as well as a projection display at Queensland Museum, and also tracked down a few awesome murals!
